Jewelry Classes

Have you ever wanted to make jewelry? Do you love hitting things with hammers? Do you like fire?

The designer and metal-smith behind Bullfrog Creatives, Rebecca Stern, is proud to be offering both 1 on 1 and group lessons out of our Redhook studio. Rebecca is a graduate with honors from the BFA Jewelry program at The Pratt Institute. An experienced instructor, with skills honed as both an assistant and substitute instructor at the 92nd Street Y After School Jewelry program, and as a technician for the Pratt Institute Pre-college Metals Program. Rebecca is also a skilled production and bench jeweler with extensive professional experience.

Our classes can be tailored to any age and skill level. With topics that can cover everything from the design process itself, to sawing and piercing, finishing, forming, wax carving and modeling, soldering, casting, etc…

Classes are available on an hourly basis, starting at $35 an hour. Packages of 4 hours are available for $120, for a savings of $20!

Along with our hourly more more freeform classes we offer our “Make a Ring” classes.
For only $100 you get a 3 hour class and all the materials needed to create your own ring. We’ll work with you starting with the design and rendering process, and finish with a completed ring.
